Scope & Content 1-page letter from O. Henry to Gilman Hall. Letter is typed, aside from signed initials and postscript, which are handwritten in pencil. Addressed to "Mr. Gee Gee." O. Henry asks for $5 or $10 to carry him through for a day or two, and states that "it [probably a manuscript] is progressing nicely, and you will read it surely by Saturday or Monday morning." Signed "S.P." Postscript reads: "P.S. Refusal accepted pleasantly."
