Handwritten letter from O. Henry to Gilman Hall. Addressed from Pittsburg, dated "Tuesday." Addressed to "G.G." He writes to "Cut out October—I cant do no pictures here. Call it November." He goes on to write that he's currently writing a story, but "the sketches cant be did with the in-conveniences I have here. I'll do 'em when I get back." He goes on to say they'll be done in two days, and that he's been "handicapped in every respect as regards work." He ends the letter by writing in a dialect: " Will repawt in person in a few hours. Have to come back to get a bawth." Signed "Semper, Bill" and "his (fingerprints) mark."
