Handwritten letter from O. Henry to Gilman Hall. Black ink on Battery Park Hotel (Asheville, N.C.) stationery. Addressed to "Mr. Hall." O. Henry thanks Hall for sending the clothes, but asks for his pearl studs to be sent, because they weren't sent with his dress shirt. He tells Hall that he is expecting to get a story done and mailed that night. He writes that Mrs. Hall is expected at Mrs. Coleman's, because he had told them that he wired an invitation (most likely an invitation to O. Henry and Sara Coleman's wedding) to the Halls. Signed: "Yours, S.P."
