Rob Rowland recalls his childhood and teenage years (1990s-2000s) living in south Austin, Texas, and his current studies in theater at Texas State University. He talks about discrimination and misunderstanding he faced as a Latino bilingual public school student, directing bilingual plays, and the gentrification and growth he has seen in Austin over the years.
