Michael Joplin recounts his formative years in north and south Austin, Texas. He talks about his experiences working in construction with his uncle and his Hispanic employees. Michael also discusses gentrification and changing demographics in east Austin, where he lives now, and his experiences working with children of color through Creative Action and Totally Cool Totally Art.
