Jarrett King reflects on his childhood going to private Catholic schools in Austin, Texas, and his adulthood involvement in Austin's theater scene and working at Sylvan Learning. He talks about his experiences of being one of the few African Americans in various school settings, discrimination and racism he has encountered, the gentrification of east Austin, and law enforcement's relationship with people of color.
