One side of the arch holds the gear and connects to an s-shaped crankshaft, which ends in a wooden handle. The top of the arch has "DAZEY" embossed on the front and back sides. A daisy is embossed on the shaft on both sides, adjacent to the gear. On the other side of the gear, next to where the crankshaft is attached, "40B" is embossed on one side.
